India-Turkmenistan: Prof. (Dr.) Ramkant Dwivedi's book on history, culture and economy published

A copy of the book India-Turkmenistan: History, Culture, Economy by Prof. (Dr.) Ramkant Dwivedi and analyses contemporary relations and trends was presented to the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Shalar Geldinazarov in New Delhi today by Prof. Lalit Agarwal, Vice President of MERI Group and Prof. Dwivedi. The book has been published in English by Pentagon Press, New Delhi and in Turkmen by the Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The book is a joint research effort of scholars from India and Turkmenistan which analyses trends in contemporary relations between the two countries.

MERI Group of Institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Journalism and Mass Communication University of Uzbekistan (UzJMCU) in New Delhi on May 25, 2025. In this conference, 17 scholars from different countries presented their views on the changing geopolitical and economic scenario of Central Asia. From India, Prof. Ramakant Dwivedi, Head of MERI, CIS and Director of India Central Asia Foundation (ICAF), New Delhi presented on the topic ‘Regional Cooperation and Integration in Central Asia: An Indian Perspective’. Prof. Dwivedi laid special emphasis on the richness of natural resources of Central Asia and its strategic geographical location. He also pointed out that India has had historical and cultural ties with the region since ancient times. He divided the process of regional integration in Central Asia into three phases.

डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की विरासत को समर्पित समरसता दिवस के अवसर पर एमईआरआई सेंटर फॉर इंटरनेशनल स्टडीज (सीआईएस) के प्रमुख प्रो. (डॉ.) रामकांत द्विवेदी ने दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में एक प्रभावशाली और विचारोत्तेजक व्याख्यान दिया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट के न्यायाधीश जस्टिस जसमीत सिंह, अनेक गणमान्य अतिथि और विधि विशेषज्ञ उपस्थित थे। प्रो. द्विवेदी ने भारतीय संविधान के मूल सिद्धांतों को रेखांकित करते हुए इसके संरक्षण की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई भारत के संवैधानिक ढांचे को कमजोर करने की कोशिश करेगा, तो उसका सख्त और ठोस जवाब दिया जाएगा।
