A conference was recently held at the University of Kashmir, in which discussions were held on strengthening strategic and economic cooperation between India and Central Asia. On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Ramakant Dwivedi, who is the head of the MERI Centre for International Studies, New Delhi and Director of the India Central Asia Foundation, shared his views. His lecture was focused on the topic “India’s Strategic Interests in Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities”.
